What’s In Your Fridge?

What a fantastic week it’s been here at the studio! A special shout out to Dr. Joe & Dr. Lisa Herbert for all the referrals, it’s been an exciting week introducing new exercises that will yield the results they are looking for!

And on that note, I want to ask all of you, what’s in your fridge right now? Do you have it jam-packed with easy, quick-grab foods? Do you have mostly alkali foods or are you eating foods that are acidic and adding to your inflammation & weight gain?

Since nutrition is 80% of your wellness goal, let me break this down into easy to follow steps for you.

One thing that Don & I like to do is EAT! We want things that are quick, healthy and easy to make. As you can see from our fridge we stock it with a ton of veggies, fruit and protein. Always cold water and ALWAYS a beer or two for Don 🙂 We both invest the time to wash and cut up things that are easy to grab when we’re hungry and ready to prepare for dinner when we just don’t have a lot of time.

We eat mostly alkali foods like asparagus, bell peppers, cauliflower, spinach, tomatoes and zucchini. We always have grapefruit, cherries, bananas, grapes and apples. Chicken, bison, eggs and lean grass-fed beef are staples in our household, being sure to eat a fist full of protein at every meal.

If you are eating foods that are more acidic like * cereals * breads * pasta * cheese * olives * cashews, etc., I GUARANTEE that you will be bloated, won’t be sleeping well, will have a hard time losing weight and probably feel achy & irritable most of your day. If this describes you, then do me a favor, step back and take a look at what’s in your fridge. You’ll be glad you did!

    Wow, looks so colorful and organized too…that’s my goal, I’ve been swerving off lately, but will get back on.
