Thanks to Kari for providing today’s recipe! Dinner was amazing tonight! Here’s what I had!!!
1: 2lb boneless beef chuck roast
40 ounce(1 can) of sweet potatoes (calls for canned, but we used real ones)
2 small onions sliced
2 apples cored and sliced
1/2 cup beef broth
2 cloves of minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 T cold water
Trim fat from beef and cut into 2 inch cubes, place beef, sweet potatoes (peeled and diced if using real ones), onions, apples, beef broth, garlic salt and 1/2 t pepper. Put it all in the crock-pot and cook on LOW 8-9 hours
Remove food from crock-pot, add the cinnamon and rest of pepper to the broth that is left in the crock pot and use it for a gravy type sauce. (it actually calls for cornstarch but we didn’t use it and it was great)
IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!!!!!
